The Musée d’Orsay restaurant blends classic and contemporary styles. Adorned with 1900s décor, the frescoes by Gabriel Ferrier and Benjamin Constant grace the ceilings of the hall and the grand dining room. The restaurant’s chairs, designed by the Italian artist Jacopo Foggini, add an elegant and contemporary touch. This luxurious restaurant predates its current setting, once serving the Orsay railway station, which opened for the 1900 Paris World Fair. In addition to savoring the local dishes featuring excellent traditional French cuisine, the restaurant stands as a separate attraction within the museum, promising delightful moments.
